The collection's silhouette, over-sized with dropped shoulders and high-necks, was inspired by the boxy, square shapes of the local houses and I also wanted to create a feeling of the heaviness and labor of love that I have seen in old photos of local farmers and workers in the area. Like the contrast of the soft felted wool against my collections staunch shapes, these buildings have a heavy burden, but they continue to stand strong till this day.		Inspiration Images I collected most of inspiration images by riding a scooter wandering around in the town and old pictures from my family albums. These bricks became the most important element in my collection, not only representing my hometown but also inspiring the colour, texture and patterns in the collection.
		Fabric felting process experiment and Knitting test, including the gradient colour, patterns and density. Using computer knitting software I created my own patterns and designs to symbolize the bricks and concrete. Then to make it even more realistic I arranged these knitted panels into a staggered layout. I then blended the knitted panels and woolen fabrics together by using a felting process and thus creating a unified fabric.
	The brown outfit silhouette was inspired by scarecrows which are commonly seen in my hometown.
